JSE-listed ETFs 3rd Quarter 2025 Distributions

The distributions paid by JSE-listed ETFs for the 3rd quarter of 2025, further boosted the compound returns for investors, on top of strong performance in markets, as evidenced by our monthly performance survey.

As expected, interest-bearing ETFs pay the highest yields, with some noticeable interest income from South African bonds, both government and corporate. In the real estate (listed property) sector, the annual yields show impressive numbers, some above 6%, although the third quarter is a light period for payments in this sector – this means investors can expect a disproportionately higher payout in following quarters.

In the equity categories, South African ETFs offer superior dividend yields compared to global ETFs, with annual yields of 4% and higher for several ETFs. This means that on yield alone investors can beat inflation and still enjoy capital growth on top of that.

Our latest quarterly report provides all the details.
